Frequently asked questions
What do I need to know about airports and travel dates?
Fly into Delhi International Airport. Make sure you’ll be free all day on the 19th and 20th for fun and festivities!
Is there a gift registry?
Your friendship and support are gifts enough for us!
Can I wear Indian clothes?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to, but don’t feel compelled. Dress guidelines are located here. If you’d like to wear Indian clothes, here are some stores we can recommend in the US:
Berkeley, CA - Sari Palace - Men and women, good but expensive, have to bargain hard
Sunnyvale, CA - ViBha
Fremont, CA - Kanyadaan - Mostly for women but also small men section
Fremont, CA - Nalli Saris - Women only, mostly south Indian styles
Dallas, TX - Usha’s Unique Boutique (Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp: (214) 564-7104))
Waltham, MA - Aalok International
What if I can’t make it both days?
We’ll be sad to miss you, but we understand! If you have to choose, we’d recommend coming for the main event, the wedding itself, on the 20th. We’re also planning a reception in the US later in 2025.
